Friday September 3rd is "Freddie For A Day", the Mercury Phoenix Trust's celebration of the life of Freddie Mercury. Its purpose is to engage the public in a fun way to remember one of the world's greatest artists, but behind it is the earnest purpose of raising funds to support the continuing work in fighting HIV AIDS worldwide through the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the charitable organisation set up in Freddie's Memory following his passing almost 20 years ago. On Powerhouse this Friday I'll have 5 copies of Iron Maiden's new album "The Final Frontier" to give away! Tune in from 8pm

Also, tomorrow (Thursday 12th), Bruxelles bar and EMI Ireland will be hosting an open playback of the album from 7-9pm. There'll be exclusive giveaways on the night and the opportunity to buy the album before its release!

Hi Everyone

This week on Powerhouse (Friday 25/06) we have an amazing Doors prize to give away. To celebrate the release of the new Doors documentary "When You're Strange" AND the fact that founding members Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger are playing the Grand Canal Theatre with a full orchestra on July 17th, this is what you could win on Powerhouse:
